Wear retainer full time for the first 24 weeks.

Then gradually reduce the time to wear it by removing for several hours a day.

If it fits tightly after keeping out of mouth, then you are moving too fast and must wear more hours until it fits passively after keeping out of mouth.

You are to taper down the number of hours until you wear only at night while sleeping.

You will wear the retainer indefinitely until Dr. Massoud instructs you to stop.
